He is currently head of the Rhythmology and Electrophysiology Clinic at the Heart Rhythm Management Center at the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel where he co-directs the Atrial Fibrillation Clinic.

He obtained his degree in cardiology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and trained in rhythmology and electrophysiology at the AZ Sint Jan in Bruges.

His areas of expertise include complex arrhythmias (such as atrial fibrillation, but also ventricular tachycardias, syncope, etc.), pacemakers, intracardiac defibrillators and sports cardiology.

In these different fields he holds several university degrees and diplomas from European and international learned societies.
